In 2023, Hoogvliet will have more than 70 supermarkets. The beating heart of the chain is located in Bleiswijk, where the distribution center, service offices, bakery and central butcher’s shop are located. The state-of-the-art, almost fully mechanized distribution center was commissioned in 2020.

Two years later, it was awarded two prestigious international sustainability awards, making it the most sustainable distribution center in the world.
